This specimen was lot 74483 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Sovereign (25 Dollars), 2005. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. 150th anniversary of the Sovereign, one of first 1000 struck. Bright and flashy with frosted devices and hard mirrored fields. This lovely modern rendition is free of tone, haze or fog garnering a perfect grade." Another one of the innumerable NCLT's pouring out of the Perth mint.
