The first specimen was lot 21006 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Las Vegas, August 2020), where it sold for $5,520. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 200 Dollars, 2004. Perth Mint. PCGS PROOF-70 Deep Cameo Gold Shield. A perfect coin from this series that is made collectible by its shockingly low mintages and one-off designs that feature the beloved Australian kangaroo." The second specimen was lot 1501 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 3,625 CHF (about US$4,009 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 200 Dollars 2004. Feingewicht: 62.21 Gramm. Polierte Platte. (Australia, 200 dollars of 2004, 62.2 g gold weight. Choice Proof.)"
