This specimen was lot 2232 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it sold for $540. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. 100 Dollars, 2000 (1998). Elizabeth II. Sydney Olympics 2000, multicolor logo. In original case. Choice Brilliant Proof." This is part of a set of twelve issued for the Sydney Olympics. Altho this one was minted in 1998, we have listed it under 2000 as that is the date on the coin.

Specification: 10 g, 0.999 fine gold, 25 mm diameter, 0.3212 ounce AGW.
