This specimen was lot 70292 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $576. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 200 Dollars, 1988. NGC MS-67. Struck to commemorate the bicentennial of Australia. A flashy Gem with near-flawless surfaces." This NCLT honors the bicentennial of the first European settlement in Botany Bay.
