This specimen was lot 74469 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 1/2 Penny, 1919. Sydney Mint. George V. PCGS MS-64 Brown. This beautifully preserved example displays rich mottle brown patina with an attractive iridescent sheen. From the Richard Margolis Collection." The type was struck 1911-36 at London, Calcutta, Melbourne, Sydney (this specimen) and Heaton. The Sydney mint produced this type 1919-22 and 1926. The Sydney mint closed in 1926.
