This specimen was lot 528 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"ARGENTINIEN Provincias del Rio de la Plata 8 Escudos 1829, Rioja. PROVINCIAS DEL RIO DE LA PLATA Þ Sonne mit Gesicht. Rv. — EN UNION Y LIBERTAD — RA — P — 8S — Wappen zwischen Zweigen und Flaggen, Kanonen und Trommel, die Jahreszahl darunter. Von grosser Seltenheit, nur 2 bis 3 Exemplare bekannt. Winz. Schrötlingsf. Vorzüglich. Ex Auktion UBS 72, September 2007, Lot 227. (Argentina, Rio de la Plata, eight escudos of 1829, Rioja mint. Obverse: sunface; reverse: arms between cannon and flags, drum and date below.
