This specimen was lot 73684 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "ARGENTINA. 2 Soles, 1824-RA DS. La Rioja Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details. Medal Alignment. A charming little piece, well-struck, with light wear and a not unpleasant uniform argent hue courtesy of its cleaning." This type was struck 1824-26 for the province of Rio de la Plata (the province of La Rioja had its own series of coins).
