This specimen was lot 33282 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ottoman Empire. Mehmed III (1595-1603) gold Dinar AH 101(2) (1603)? XF45 ANACS, Tilimsan mint (in Algeria). Occasionally referred to as a double dinar due to its broad diameter, this rare North African type displays a very silvery appearance with a somewhat unclear date and some slight weakness in the margins as is typical. Ex. Dr. Hans Wilski Collection."
