This specimen was lot 1780 in Sincona sale 86 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 50,000 CHF (about US$67,330 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Elizabeth II. 1952-2022. Proof 1000 Pounds 2008, Royal Mint Llantrisant for Alderney. 1 kg gold. Celebrating the 60th birthday of HRH Charles, (at that time) Prince of Wales, son and heir apparent of Queen Elizabeth II. Nur 30 Exemplare geprägt, Mit Originaletui und Zertifikat Only 30 pieces struck. NGC PF70 ULTRA CAMEO. With original box and certificate. No. 9 of 30 limited edition presentation sets. Finest certified by NGC."
