This specimen was lot 32416 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $61. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian Occupation. Vittorio Emanuele III 5 Lek 1939-R MS63 NGC, Rome mint. A graphite-hewn specimen with features that closely to mirror the official Italian issues of Vittorio Emmanuele III." This and the accompanying ten lek (KM 34) are the only silver coins issued by the Fascist administration of Albania during its brief rule (1939-43) over Albania.
