This specimen was lot 1313 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 39 (Winter Park, FL, May 2026), where it sold for $6,600. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN (Al-Andalus), Almoravids, Qurtuba (Córdoba) قرطبة, AV dinar, Yusuf ibn Tashfin, 495 AH (1102 AD), date with units in feminine form, very rare, NGC MS 64, ex-Tonegawa. Rich color with choice luster, bold and sharp full details, this date not recorded in Vives or Hazard for this mint, tied with previous lot for second finest for the type in the NGC census behind a single MS 65. NGC #8437663-007. Pedigreed to the Tonegawa Collection (stated on label), Auction II (Aureo & Calicó 439, November 2024, lot 354)." This gold dinar was struck at numerous mints, including Seville, Denia, Granada, Malaga, Almeria, Valencia, Ceuta (in Africa) and Fez (in Africa). Cayón records no silver issues for this ruler.
