This specimen was part of lot 1312 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), which sold for $552. The catalog description[1] noted, "Sénégal. 10 Francs and 25 Francs, 1968. KM-1,2. Total weight 0.3241 ounce. Eight Anniversary of Independence. Lot of 2 coins. Choice Brilliant Proof." Senegal has issued few coins, choosing to use the CFA franc. This was included in a series of ten, 25, 50 and 100 francs in gold.

Recorded mintage: unknown but all proofs.

Specification: 8 g, .900 fine gold.
