Goldberg sale 104, lot 3568

This specimen was lot 3568 in Goldberg sale 104 (Los Angeles, June 2018), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Israel. 5 New Sheqalim, 1989. Holyland sites - Jaffa harbor. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT honoring Jaffa harbor, Israel's main port, was accompanied by a silver one new sheqel (KM 203) and a silver half new sheqel (KM 202).

Recorded mintage: 2,402 proofs.

Specification: 8.63 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.2497 ounce AGW.
