Heritage sale 363, lot 21655

This specimen was lot 21655 in Heritage sale 363 (New York, January 2005), where it sold for $345. The catalog description noted, "Arab Republic gold 100 Pounds 1989, The Golden Cat, Proof, minor hairlines." The Franklin Mint mark is visible on the reverse but no AH date is present.

Recorded mintage: 7,500.
