This specimen was lot 71205 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "BULGARIA. 2 Leva, 1891. Kremnica Mint. Ferdinand I. NGC AU-58. A boldly struck coin with flashy, mutely reflective fields, luster in the protected areas, and virtually without toning." It was struck in Hungary along with a half, one and five leva.
Recorded mintage: 1,500,000 + proofs.
