This specimen was lot 1649 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 500 CHF (about US$725 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN Florenz, Cosimo III. de Medici, 1670-1723. 1/2 Piastra 1676, Firenze. Fast vorzüglich. Hübsche Patina. Exemplar der Auktion Künker 194, Osnabrück, September 2011, Los 2343. (Italy, grand duchy of Tuscany, Cosimo III, 1670-1723, half piastra of 1676, Florence mint. About Extremely Fine, Attractively toned.)"
This rare type was struck 1676-77 and accompanied a full piastra (Dav-4209).
