Sincona sale 73, lot 2123

This specimen was lot 2123 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 1,554 CHF (about US$1,666). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BULLION AUCTION | SPAIN | Königreich. Felipe VI. seit 2014. 400 Euro 2017. Heinrich VIII. Feingewicht: 27 Gramm. 2'000 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Im Originaletui mit Zertifikat. (kingdom of Spain, Philip VI, 2014-, four hundred euros of 2017, Henry VIII of England. 2,000 pieces struck, Choice Proof, In original box with certificate.)"

This NCLT was part of a series extending 2002-17, honoring Spanish art and history, in this case portraitist Hans Holbein. This type is as yet unlisted in the SCWC.

Recorded mintage: 2,000 proofs.
