This specimen was lot 3193 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 3,800 CHF (about US$4,584 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Hamburg, Stadt, Doppeltaler o. J. (1606-1619). Sehr selten. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Feine Patina. (Germany, city of Hamburg, undated double thaler. Very rare, Very fine-extremely fine, Nice toning.)"
This type, like most double thalers of the period, is rare.
