Künker sale 263, lot 214

This specimen was lot 214 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €220 (about US$284 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Hamburg, STADT Reichstaler (32 Schilling) o. J. (1606-1612), mit Titel Rudolfs II. Münzmeister Matthias Moers. R Leichte Belagreste, sehr schön. (Germany, city of Hamburg, undated thaler (c. 1606-12), in the name of Rudolf II, mintmaster Matthias Moers. Scarce, obverse nick, very fine.)"

Other issues of this type are known dated 1607-10. It is common.
