This specimen was lot 169 in Sincona sale 31 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 500 CHF (about US$594 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "OTTOMAN TUNIS | Abdul Hamid II (1293-1299ah/1876-1909ce) riyal 1295ah (1878ce) AR R xf." This type was struck AH 1294-1298. It is scarce but not rare.
