This specimen was lot 31778 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $164.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carl XII 5 Ore 1712-LC, AU58 NGC. Nicely toned with bold details, scarce type and grade. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman/B.G. Johnson." This type is listed for 1702-15 and like the similar billon ten öre introduced in 1739, is common in low grade.
