This specimen was lot 77611 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Silver 1/2 Onza, 1993-Mo. Mexican (Potosi) Mint. PCGS PROOF-70 Deep Cameo." This type was struck in modest numbers 1991-95. The mintage shown here is typical. In 1996, the obverse was modified to show a side view of the statue (KM 612).
