This type was struck at five mints in Germany since 2002. This example is from the Stuttgart mint. None were struck for circulation in 2003 but it is still in production as of 2024.
Recorded mintage: 576,135,000 plus 100,000 proofs.
Specifications: 3.92 g, copper-plated steel, 21.25 mm diameter, plain edge.
