South Korea 1988 50000 won
This specimen was lot 1901 in Goldberg Sale 139 (Los Angeles, June 2024), where it sold for $2,340. The catalog description[1] noted, "Korea (South). 50,000 Won, 1988. For the 1988 Olympic games. Pul Guk Temple. With Certificate. Choice Brilliant Proof." The reverse features the pagoda at Pul Guk temple (now spelled Bulguksa) in Gyeongju city, designated a national treasure. This is not the first time this building was featured on a Korean coin.

Specification: 33.62 g, 0.925 fine gold, reeded edge, 1.000 troy oz AGW, 33 mm diameter.
