This specimen was lot 20302 in Stack's Bowers 2018 NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $3,840. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Portcullis Testern, ND (ca. 1600). Elizabeth I (1558-1603). PCGS VF-25 Secure Holder. Mintmark 'O'. RARE short lived type, struck only in 1600/01 for trade in the East Indies. A few weak spots typical of hammered coinage but never mounted, plugged, or clipped. Nice legends on both sides, nicely toned."
