Sincona sale 73, lot 2118

This specimen was lot 2118 in Sincona sale 73 (Zurich, November 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"BULLION AUCTION | SPAIN | Königreich. Juan Carlos I. 1975-2014. 400 Euro 2007. 5 Jahre Euro. Feingewicht: 27 Gramm. 27.00 g. 3'000 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Im Originaletui mit Zertifikat. (kingdom of Spain, Juan Carlos I, 1975-2014, four hundred euros of 2007, fifth anniversary of the euro. 3,000 pieces struck, Choice Proof, In original box with certificate.)"

This NCLT honored the fifth anniversary of the introduction of the euro. It was accompanied by KM 1127 (silver 50 euro) and KM 1124, 1125, 1126 (silver 10 euros).

Recorded mintage: 3,000 proofs.

Specification: 27 g, 0.999 fine gold, 38 mm diameter.
