Spain 2008 400 euro
This specimen was lot 2119 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 1,554 CHF (about US$1,666). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BULLION AUCTION | SPAIN | Königreich. Juan Carlos I. 1975-2014. 400 Euro 2008. Goya - José Rebolledo de Palafox y Melci. Feingewicht: 27 Gramm. 3'500 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Featured on the obverse is José Rebolledo de Palafox y Melzi (1775-1847), 1st Duke of Saragossa, a Spanish general who fought in the Peninsular War. This NCLT was part of a series extending 2002-17, honoring Spanish art and history. It was accompanied by KM 1198 (silver 50 euro) and KM 1199, 1200, 1201 (silver 10 euros).
