This specimen was lot 2672 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $228. The catalog description[1] noted, "AFSHARID: Shahrukh, 1748-1750, AR rupi, Isfahan, AH1162, although common at other mints, this type is extremely rare for Isfahan and Shiraz, gorgeous strike, EF." Shahrukh ruled three times; AH 1161-63, AH 1163-68, AH 1168-1210. Isfahan is mentioned in the SCWC for the seconnd reign only.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a rare mint.
