Stephen Album internet sale 28, lot 775

This specimen was lot 775 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $66. The catalog description[1] noted, "LAOS: People's Democratic Republic, AV 500 kip, 2007, 30th Anniversary of the Chinese "Panda" Coinage, struck in 9999 fine gold, PCGS graded PF69 Deep Cameo, ex Howard A. Daniel III Collection." This is one of a series of NCLT's made and sold to collectors. We don't know if any made it to Laos. Unlisted in all the major sources, we don't know the module. This design appeared in silver (KM 153).

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 0.50 g, 0.999 fine gold, 11 mm diameter.
