Laos 2013 500 kip
The first specimen was lot 785 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $66. The catalog description[1] noted, "LAOS: People's Democratic Republic, AV 500 kip, 2013, Year of the Snake, struck in 9999 fine gold, PCGS graded PF69 Deep Cameo, ex Howard A. Daniel III Collection." The second specimen was lot 3747 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[2] noted, "LAOS: People's Democratic Republic, AV 500 kip, 2013, N-228464, Panthera Tigris, PCGS graded Proof 69 DCAM, R4 (Daniel), ex Howard A. Daniel III Collection." This is one of a series of NCLT's made and sold to collectors. We don't know if any made it to Laos.
