Revision as of 11:01, 7 February 2024 by LatinKing2020 (talk | contribs) (Text replacement - "6400 réis]]" to "6,400 réis]]")
The first specimen was part of lot 23307 in Heritage sale 3020 (Long Beach, September 2012), where it sold for $1,880. The catalog description[1] noted, "Collection of Silver 320 Reis, a very nice selection, primarily in Fine to VF quality. This group covers a wide range of dates, and we definitely suggest careful viewing if you want to be competitive." This type is listed for 1809-17 for Rio and is considered a common date for an otherwise scarce denomination. Bahia (KM 255.2) and Minas Gerais (KM 255.3) also contributed.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 8.96 g, 0.917 fine silver.
Catalog reference: KM 255.1.
