Bamberg 1757 3 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 3371 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €160 (about US$209 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAMBERG, BISTUM, Franz Konrad von Stadion, 1753-1757. 3 Kreuzer (Groschen) 1757, Nürnberg, auf seinen Tod. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, bishopric of Bamberg, Francis Conrad of Stadion, 1753-57, three kreuzer of 1757, Nuremberg mint, on his death. Extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
Altho the bishops of Bamberg issued coins from heller up to multiple ducats, most years saw no issues at all. Memorial three kreuzer were issued in 1729, 1753, 1757 (shown here), 1779 and 1795. Franz Conrad's successor, Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim, was also bishop of Wurzburg.
