This specimen was lot 73229 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone (4 Mark), 1692-CW. Gluckstadt Mint. Christian V. PCGS EF-40. A handsome and most wholesome Krone, with moderate evidence of circulation and much retained eye appeal and allure." This type was struck 1691-92. Many would not class this as a crown, being too small, but it has a Davenport number so we will include it.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 22.27 g, 0.671 fine silver.
Catalog reference: KM 401.2, Dav-3643.
