Ponterio sale 182, lot 385

This specimen was lot 385 in Ponterio sale 182 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $___. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Prince Edward Island. Cent, 1871. PCGS MS-66 RD. Bright and attractive. Quite choice and original." This is the only decimal issue from the province prior to its incorporation into the dominion but it is common in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 2,000,000.
