This specimen was lot 927 in Stephen Album sale 47 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "MYSORE: Tipu Sultan, 1782-1799, AV pagoda (faruqi), Khurshed-Sawad, AM1217 year 7, Henderson, Dharwar is the city name, called by the honorific title Khurshid-Sawad, gorgeous bold strike, light edge scratches, wonderful bold strike! Unc, RR, ex Charles W. Lueders III Collection." The SCWC lists this rare type for AM 1217-1218.
