This type was struck in the United States for Cuba in 1915-20, 1932 and 1948-49. The type is common today. The issue was accompanied by a silver ten centavos, forty centavos and one peso issues. The 1949 is the most common date.

Recorded mintage: 6,830,000.

Specification: 5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .144 troy oz AGW, 23 mm diameter.
