This specimen was lot 55748 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxe-Gotha. Taler, 1613-WA. Saalfeld Mint. Johann Casimir & Johann Ernst II. NGC EF Details--Tooled. From the Augustana Collection." This type is listed for 1612-19. This division of the Saxon lands lasted 1572-1638. Saxe-Neu-Gotha dates from 1640.
