This specimen was lot 2076 in Stephen Album sale 43 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2022), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRENCH INDOCHINA: AR 20 cents, 1903-A, rare date, cleaned, AU, R. NOTE: This coin has been cleaned, which we did not mention in the printed catalog." This type was struck 1898-1903, 1908-16 and this is a better date.

Recorded mintage: 675,000.

Specification: 5.4 g, 0.835 fine silver.
