Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale, lot 74385

This specimen was lot 74385 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $216. The catalog description^[1] noted, "IRAQ. 10 Fils, AH 1352/1933. London Mint. Faisal I. NGC AU-55. A nice piece displaying steely gray color and only light evidence of circulation. Very SCARCE in this state of preservation." This type was also struck in 1931. It is fairly available in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 2,200,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 6.75 g, nickel, 25 mm diameter.
