Steve Album sale 38, lot 1371

This specimen was lot 1371 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $6,545. The catalog description^[1] noted, "IRAQ: Faisal I, 1921-1933, AR 20 fils, 1933/AH"1252", engraver error date for AH1352, PCGS graded AU55, R." This type was struck 1931 and 1933. This is a scarce error with an incorrect AH date.

Recorded mintage: 1,100,000 + proofs.

Specification: 3.60 g, 0.500 fine silver, 20.5 mm diameter.
