Künker sale 294, lot 4206

This specimen was lot 4206 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €200 (about US$270 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"REICHSGOLDMÜNZEN, WÜRTTEMBERG, Wilhelm II. 1891-1918. 10 Mark 1909. Winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich. (unified gold coinage, kingdom of Württemberg, William II, 1891-1918, ten mark of 1909. Minor scratches, extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1893-1913 and is common.

Recorded mintage: 100,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 3.98 g, .900 fine gold, .114 troy oz AGW.
