Sincona sale 64, lot 3671

This specimen was lot 3671 in Sincona sale 64 (Zurich, June 2020), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$501 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND | Waadt/Vaud | Kanton. Rappen 1804, Lausanne. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-FDC. (canton of Vaud, rappen of 1804, Lausanne mint. Rare in this condition, Extremely fine-uncirculated.)"

This scarce type was struck 1804 only. It was accompanied by a batzen.

Recorded mintage: 211,000.

Specification: billon, this specimen 0.69 g.
