This five hundred pesos was struck in Bogotá, Colombia, of a type issued 1993-97. It is common in all grades. It exemplifies the fad for bimetallic coinage which swept world mints in the 1990's.

Specification: 7.14 g, bimettalic, aluminum bronze center, copper nickel outer ring.
