This specimen was lot 70646 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 3 Pence, 1567. Elizabeth I (1558-1603). PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder. Crown mintmark, very early dated issue. Dark toning, slightly off center, bold portrait." This type is listed for 1567-77. Later issues were not dated, to the annoyance of modern collectors.
