This specimen was lot 3715 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$264 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, 20 Schilling (Halbgulden) 1791, Zürich. Laubrand. Selten. Vorzüglich-FDC. Justiert. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, Zürich mint. Rare, Extremely fine-uncirculated, Adjustment marks.)"
This type was issued 1783, 1786, 1790-92 and 1798 and was worth half a gulden or a quarter thaler. In 1798, the canton of Zurich was forcibly incorporated into the Helvetic Republic.
