Altho none of the ducats of Pfalz are common, this one is only scarce, not rare. The Rhineland was devastated during the Thirty Years War and Electoral Pfalz never recovered its former prosperity. After the fall of Napoleon, the region was incorporated into Prussia and was industrialized in the late nineteenth century.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
