This specimen was lot 208 in Sincona sale 88 (Zurich, May 2024), where it sold for 160 CHF (about US$212 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Qajar Dynasty, Naser al-Din Shah, 1264-1313 (1848-1896). Kran 1273 AH (1856), Astarabad Mint. Farahbakhsh 457-5. Vorzüglich, Leicht gereinigt; Extremely fine. Lightly cleaned. Purchased from Bonham's, London, in 2007."
This silver denomination was struck at numerous mints in the beginning of the reign of Nasir al-Din Shah. This style is listed from Astarabad for AH 1265-1292, along with seventeen other mints.
