This specimen was lot 11424 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €145 (about US$151). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/4 Riksdaler, 1832 - CB. Stockholm Mint. Karl XIV Johan. NGC AU-55. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1830-36 along with an eighth, half and one riksdaler. The Swedish coinage was reformed in 1798, 1830, 1855 and 1873.

Recorded mintage: 522,113, a slightly better date.

Specifications: 8.52 g, 0.750 fine silver, 24.6 mm diameter, lettered edge; this specimen 8.43 g.
