Isle of Man 1996 1/4 crown KM-670
This specimen was lot 1330 in Stephen Album sale 43 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2022), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "ISLE OF MAN: Elizabeth II, 1952, bimetallic ¼ crown, 1996, gold center with platinum rim, Queen Guinevere, estimated mintage of only 5,000 pieces, Brilliant Proof, Scarce." This is one of series of NCLT's celebrating the king Arthur legend (KM 669, 670, 671, 672, 673). They were struck in bimetallic and straight platinum formats.
