This specimen was lot 21061 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $4,700. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Hyderabad. Ashrafi, AH 1311 Year 27 (1893-94). NGC MS-64. Sharply struck, lustrous and attractively toned. An outstanding example with an outstanding provenance. Ex: Lawrence Adams Collection." This is the only date of the type and is scarce. The dump style ashrafi (KM Y22, issued AH 1286-1318) is considerably more available.
